“You are a CPA and MBA. Why are you getting into real estate?”
You might ask. Let me tell you my story.
I bought my house during a crazy seller’s market. I had seen over 50 houses and put in 13 offers. My interactions with many real estate agents were not so positive. I saw a culture of quick sales, over-promise-and-under-delivery and little or no concept of customer service.
Once my offer was accepted, I asked the listing agent the exact year built. I had to know it for my home insurance. She said she didn’t know and would get back to me. She never did. So I had to call the city to find that out myself. Agents are supposed to act in the best interests of the client and treat customers professionally. I know that there are good realtors out there sincerely caring for clients. Sadly, I also know that they are few and far between.
I want to change that. I will increase the level of service quality in the industry. As a professional from the service industry, I know excellent service means…
- Putting YOU (person/human being) first before commissions (things);
- Acting in the best interests of YOU; and
- Making the process of finding your dream home and listing your properties seamless.
